Golden Temple of Dambulla also known as Dambulla Cave Temple is a temple in central of Sri Lanka.It is said that the cave had been occupied long before the arrival of Buddhism to Sri Lanka, with the oldest serious dating back around 700BC.

A sacred pilgrimage site for 22 centuries, this cave monastery, with its five sanctuaries, is the largest, best-preserved cave-temple complex in Sri Lanka. The Buddhist mural paintings (covering an area of 2,100 m2) are of particular importance, as are the 157 statues.

The gateway arch is really an impressiv building. Especially the elevators are awesome. I really recommend everybody to check it out.
