Talladega Speedway of Alabama

Talladega Speedway of AlabamaThe Talladega Superspeedway, which is also known as the Talladega Speedway, is not only the largest racetrack when it comes to NASCAR, but also the fastest. These are just two of the reasons why NASCAR fans put a premium on the events that are held here.

Among the Talladega Speedway events are a couple major annual races, and if you don't get the chance to attend one of these, there are a couple of smaller races held here as well. More than 143,000 patrons can fit into the stands for the various Talladega Superspeedway events, and you can be sure that all the seats go fast when the big races come to town. If you can't get a seat in the stands, don't fret, as the 212-acre infield can accommodate thousands of visitors as well.

When you're not enjoying a race at the Talladega Speedway, the surrounding area is one of the more scenic parts of Alabama, so you can get outside and enjoy the great outdoors as you please. Hiking in Cheaha State Park is just one of the area options, so you might consider that.
