Cuzco Of Peru

Cuzco has two defined seasons, a dry season which is the recommended time for visiting, from April to October and rainy season from November to March.
Nowadays, the city is one of the most visited and the most popular destinations in Peru, with lots of things to see. The enigmatic ancient ruins of Machu Picchu can be reached three hour ride with the use of train or you can go there by walking the Inca Trail while the titanic
fortress of Sacsayhuaman is just a couple of kilometres away.
Peru has many places to visit including the most visited site Machu Picchu, other than that are the fortress and the town of Ollantaytambo, the shrines of Qenqo, the Tambomachay the Agricultural center at Moray, agricultural terracing, the famous market and the religious center Pisac. The city was also the axis of a network of roads spanning the continent, from Colombia down to northern Chile and Argentina.
Did you know? That held to be the home of the gods by the Incas, Cuzco was the capital of the Tahuantinsuyu – the great pre-Colombian empire during the period from 1438 to 1533.
